About Cahill’s Homevalue Hardware, Kilmallock

The Business was established in 1972 when Tim & Helen Cahill opened their first Hardware store in Newcastle West, Co Limerick and in 1974 they opened in a rented premise in Kilmallock, Co Limerick. They bought Murphy’s Brewery at Lord Edward St, Kilmallock in 1978 and traded from this premise for the next 24 years.

In 2000 Tim purchased the site where the business now stands from Limerick County Council where he constructed a 36,000 sq/ft storage and retail outlet. This is a modern hardware/builders providers and showrooms.

The foundation of Cahill’s success over the years has been based on family involvement and a dedicated , loyal and knowledgeable staff.
